Skyrim Full Screen Fix Internet

I've only been playing Skyrim for a short time, less than 100 hours, and I've run into a problem with no known (to me anyways) fix.Every time I click on my saved game, from the start menu, it will go to the loading screen and load for a little bit; a second little fact with come up in the corner replacing the one before it, and then it just freezes all of a sudden. I can't bring up the Xbox Dashboard, or turn off the Xbox from my controller. I've cleared the system cache a number of times, the game cache, and I know for sure it is not the disk because it works fine for the other people playing it. I've read a lot about the loading screen just freezing when people are traveling, but I haven't seen much about it just immediately freezing right when you first try to load your saved game. Which is frustrating.A lot of people would also say, 'Get the patch! It'll fix everything!' But from past experience, the patches actually make more problems than they cause.sigh.

Download the fix by pressing the download button below! After installing which I show in my video below, click on SkyrimLauncher.exe and click “Install” (yes, “Options” is greyed out). It will immediately detect that Skyrim has been installed and allow you to click on “Options” to change the resolution and such.

I have the same issue and have been very frustrated. I tried clearing out both caches, it didn't work. I read that if you load a new game you can try loading your saved game from the new game. This didn't work for me because when I brought up the menu there was no option to save or load other games. Also, as soon as the cart gets to the town and stops, nothing else happens. The characters are still moving but no one is talking and nothing else happens.

The game is stuck there but not totally frozen. And, again, there is no option to load my other game. I spent so many hours on this game I don't want to start over. Oh, and it looks like I can't start over even if I wanted to. Someone help!

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is the new enhanced version with decent graphic settings. But many players are trying to get wide screen resolution of 2560×1080 on the same. This is not possible without adding mods. Officially the game does not have these resolutions. We also have a guide that can help you to get a stable 60 fps. Click the below link to read that or skip ahead to go with ultra wide resolution settings.

Warnings:

  • The settings below require modifying official game files. It is recommended that you copy the original one first and then replace the mods.
  • The settings can cause the game slow on launch.

How to get Ultra Wide Screen Resolution at 21:9 aspect ratio:

Program to convert string to integer without using inbuilt library. Method 1:

The process is tricky for this. There is a mod on Nexusmods that tweaks the UI to Ultrawide interface. Most of the 16:9 menus will work well on 21:9 ratio. The output will look great on display with 2560×1080 resolution. It does not support multiple monitor.

  1. Download Ultrawide Interface by InAComaDial999 from Nexusmod
  2. Extract the content of the file in folder “interface”.
  3. Copy the folder and paste in C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonskyrimData.
  4. Now launch the game and test the output.

Method 2:

The below steps are extremely simple but I am not sure whether it will really work or not. Still I am adding the settings you can try.

  1. Launch Steam and go in the Game Library.
  2. Look for Skyrim Special Edition and right click on it. Click on Properties.
  3. Under the General Tab look for Set Launch Options.
  4. Add the following – -CustomResolution:enabled -r2560x1080x32.
  5. Click Ok and then try to launch the game. If it fails remove the above lines and check again.

Method 3:

A number of settings to modify the game settings and resolution can be done through SkyrimPrefs.ini file. We can get around 2560×1080 by modifying simple settings in the file. You can also add higher resolution in the value below.

  1. Click on My Documents > My Games > Skyrim and Look for SkyrimPrefs.ini.
  2. Right click and choose open with Notepad.
  3. Set the following value. iSize H=1080 and iSize W=2560.

Method 4:

  1. Another easier way is to use Flawless Widescreen. There are huge numbers of game titles that support this mod. You can download and test out various settings to improve game graphics. If nothing works restore all the original files and modify the graphic settings using Flawless Widescreen.

So these are the simplest methods you can go with to get decent high resolution settings for Skyrim Special Edition. Incase you have anything more to share do add in the game comments section.
